Cape Wine, which was introduced in 2004, is an extensive wine-tasting event held biennially in Cape Town. This event is open to the general public, as well as to international and local wine importers and exporters: indeed, anyone interested in learning about South African wine and food ― all in one hall ― is welcome to attend. The brief for the logo specified the use of photographs and a conservative layout in order to appeal to a wide target audience. The subjects of the photographs were nature and wine.
